چکیده

Background: Inoculation with plant-growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) effectively increases plant growth in agriculture. However, the role of rhizobiome remains unclear. Methods: Biolog Ecoplate and 16S rRNA gene high-throughput sequencing techniques were used to analyze changes microbial community diversity, composition, function after PGPR inoculation. Soil physicochemical enzyme activities also measured. Results: inoculation significantly promoted alfalfa. Using a Ecoplate, improved metabolic activity carbon source utilization soil microorganisms. increased diversity richness bacterial rhizosphere alfalfa relative abundance key taxa such as Arthrobacter, Sphingomonas, Bacillus, which are conducive growth. Conclusions: enriched sources beneficial for induced relevant functions contributed under field conditions.

Effects of root pruning on the physicochemical properties and microbial activities of poplar rhizosphere soil

This study aimed to determine the effects of root pruning on the physicochemical characteristics and microbial activities of poplar rhizosphere soil. The root systems of 5-year-old poplar (Populus×euramericana cv. 'Neva') trees were manually pruned at 6, 8, or 10 times diameter at breast height (DBH) from the trunk (severe, moderate, and light, respectively) along both inter-row sides. Moderate...

Effects of plant species coexistence on soil enzyme activities and soil microbial community structure under Cd and Pb combined pollution.

The relationship between plant species coexistence and soil microbial communities under heavy metal pollution has attracted much attention in ecology. However, whether plant species coexistence could offset the impacts of heavy metal combined pollution on soil microbial community structure and soil enzymes activities is not well studied. The modified ecological dose model and PCR-RAPD method we...

Potential of Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria and Chemical Fertilizers on Soil Enzymes and Plant Growth

The present investigation deals with the role of Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria and chemical fertilizers alone or in combination on urease, invertase and phosphatase activities of rhizospheric soil and also on general impact on growth of safflower cvv. Thori and Saif-32. The PGPR (Azospirillum brasilense and Azotobacter vinelandii) were applied at 10cells/mL as seed inoculation prior to s...

Soil Properties, Nutrient Dynamics, and Soil Enzyme Activities Associated with Garlic Stalk Decomposition under Various Conditions

The garlic stalk is a byproduct of garlic production and normally abandoned or burned, both of which cause environmental pollution. It is therefore appropriate to determine the conditions of efficient decomposition, and equally appropriate to determine the impact of this decomposition on soil properties. In this study, the soil properties, enzyme activities and nutrient dynamics associated with...

Adsorption of arsenic on soil under different soil moisture conditions

The adsorption study was conducted on three Japanese soils with different soil properties to characterize the adsorption pattern of Arsenic (As). Double tube method was used to find out the effect of soil moisture levels on As adsorption. For this study, besides double tube method, conventional batch method also was used. The As adsorption showed two phase kinetics. An initial and rapid adsorpt...
